સરકારી ઈજનેરી કોલેજ વલસાડ ખાતે પ્રજાસત્તાક દિનની ઉજવણી કરવામાં આવી. ઉજવણીમાં કોલેજોના અધ્યાપકો અને વિદ્યાર્થીઓને ખૂબ જ ઉત્સાહપૂર્વક ભાગ લીધો આચાર્યશ્રી ડોક્ટર વી. એસ. પુરાણી એ રાષ્ટ્રધ્વજ ફરકાવીને પ્રસંગોચિત ઉદબોધન કર્યું અને વિધ્યાર્થીઓ ને પોતાના કાર્યમાજ પ્રમાણિક્તા દાખવીને રાષ્ટ્ર પ્રત્યેનો પ્રેમ દર્શાવવાની પ્રેરણા આપી. વિદ્યાર્થીઓ દ્વારા પરેડ અને સાંસ્કૃતિક કાર્યક્રમનું પણ આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું. વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ ગીતો, એકપાત્ર અભિનય, સમૂહગીત, નાટક, વક્તવ્ય વગેરે દ્વારા પોતાની રાષ્ટ્રભાવના પ્રદર્શિત કરી હતી. કાર્યક્રમના અંતે અધ્યાપકો અને વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ પ્રસંગને અનુરૂપ પોતાના વિચારો વ્યક્ત કર્યા હતા. સુંદર આયોજન બદલ આચાર્યશ્રીએ સર્વે અધ્યાપકો અને વિદ્યાર્થીઓને અભિનંદન પાઠવ્યા હતા
Seminar on "Enhancing Students’ Performance through Life Skills"

A workshop under RUSA was organized on “Practicing Stress Management in Daily Life of Students” for 2nd Semester students at Government Engineering College Valsad on 15th February 2020. Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) launched in 2013 aiming at providing strategic funding to eligible state higher educational institutions. RUSA ensures adequate availability of quality in all higher educational institutions and ensure capacity building in students at all levels of employment. Dr. H. V. Trivedi (former principal of LD College of Engineering and Director of Nirma University) conducted the workshop to make students aware about managing stress in their academic as well as in daily life situations.

“INFINIUM’20” was the national level technical symposium, organized by the Government Engineering College, Valsad, on 6th March 2020. It provides a platform for students to come and explore the realms of science and technology. It brings to student’s competitions that test their skills, lectures from eminent personalities, workshops to hone their talents, exhibitions to see the latest developments, not forget the fun and festive spirit of a college festival.
Rhythm 2020 : Cultural Celebration

Rhythm 2020, Annual Cultural Celebration of college was organised in the college campus to provide the opportunities for showcasing the extracurricular talents of engineering students through Drama, singing, Dancing, mono acting, mimicry and poem recitation on the stage.
